| These shapes, when assembled are the five platonic
solids (named after Plato, a famous ancient Greek philosopher.) They are
unique in that all the facets and therefore all their edges are all of equal
length. So mathematical data such as angles, internal dimensions and even
volumes can be readily calculated. |
NeoShapes was designed and
created by Kenneth Barrett (Dip. App. Chem. and proprietor of 3D Mandalas
and Giuseppe LiRosi of Genesis education). Ken has extensively studied
chemistry, physics, mathematics and sacred geometry. They have also
created a variety of more complex multi-faceted geometric shapes that will soon
be available as Neoshapes II.
